- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we collect your name (if provided), email address, and Apple ID token.
- Profile Information: Display name, avatar, and any optional information you choose to provide.
- User Activity: Questions you complete, skip, or favourite; progress through question decks; session data.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version.
- Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage, crash logs.
- Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to improve app performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the GoDeeper service
- Personalise your experience and save your progress
- Improve our app features and user experience
- Send important updates about the service (if you opt in)
- Respond to your requests and support needs
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Where Your Data is Stored
Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant and follows industry-standard security practices.
3.2 Security Measures
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
- Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption
- We implement row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data
- Regular security audits and updates
4. Apple Sign-In
When you sign in with Apple, we receive limited information based on your Apple ID preferences. Apple may provide us with a unique user identifier, your verified email address (or a private relay email if you choose), and your name (only if you grant permission). We respect Apple’s privacy features and do not circumvent any privacy choices you make through Apple Sign-In.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
5.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5.2 Service Providers
We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the app:
- Supabase: Database and authentication services
- Apple: Authentication through Apple Sign-In
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can disable analytics or notifications through your device settings. To request a copy of your data in a portable format, contact us at hello@godeeperapp.com.
7. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. All your personal information is permanently removed. This action cannot be undone. Deletion typically completes within 30 days.
8. Children’s Privacy
GoDeeper is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the “Last Updated” date.

13. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing.
